Francis Newman

Francis Newman is a dancer and danceteacher who started his career at the age of 9. He comes from a bloodline of traditional dancers and musicians and has dedicated his life to educating people on the roots and traditional dances of Ghana. Francis is teaching traditional dances at the Ghetto Studio, I am Azonto Dance 4 Change. 

Rich Boy Hero

Richard Aboagye best known as Rich Boy Hero is a world wide known dance artist and a teacher born and raised in Accra. He is a strong pillar of the Azonto movement and one of the pioneers of Asorkpor dance style. Uplifting tradition, preserving the culture and it’s traditions he is inspiring the next generation and sharing his knowledge with passion and authenticity.

George Bauwah aka Kobi Twitches is a passionate dancer, advocate and practitioner dedicated to cultural preservation. He is a leading figure in the Ghanaian dance scene, a head of I am Azonto Dance 4 Change organization and a pioneer of the krump movement in Ghana.  He is a true innovator who blends tradition with modern energy. 

Azonto U.S

Michael Peprah aka Real Azonto U.S is a performer, creator, teacher and promoter of dance. He is passionate of spreading the Ghanaian street styles Azonto and Asorkpor. He is a proud member of I am Azonto Dance 4 Change. From a young age he was deeply involved in Azonto and that laid the foundation of him as a dancer. Azonto isn’t just movement – it is a language for him.
